The field of psychiatry binds me because the human mind has tremendous abilities and capabilities. I believe that a person should be viewed as a whole – holistically, because literacy cannot be separated from the body. I wanted to become a doctor from the age of 9, but I chose psychiatry when I realized that I was interested in what happens to a person's inner world after various physical or emotional tests.
