Laura Tauriņa

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and work with patients ages 18 and up. My goal is to help you find solutions to emotional challenges and improve your mental health. I am here to create a safe and understanding environment where you can be open and receive the support you need.

In my practice, I have worked with a variety of patients, ranging from those with mild emotional difficulties to complex mental health situations, such as depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.

I consider each patient unique, so together we will create an individual and tailored treatment plan for you, which may include non-drug therapy, medicines, or other necessary assistance. I collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment.

It is important to me that you feel heard, understood, and receive exactly the help you need. Our collaboration will help you address current difficulties and build a foundation for long-term well-being and emotional strength.

About me: In 2023, I graduated from the Faculty of Continuing Education of RSU, obtaining a psychiatrist's certificate. My main place of work is Vidzeme Hospital, where I consult outpatients. I have also worked as an outpatient psychiatrist at the Valmiera Health Center since 2024. I regularly update my knowledge by attending professional association conferences and foreign congresses.
