How to book a consultation?

Step 1

Click the Book a consultationbutton, register or log in to your profile, confirming your identity with Smart-ID or another authentication method.

Step 2

Choose your consultation language, select a convenient time, and enter your ERGO health insurance card number to confirm your booking. The consultation will be available on the same working day — within one hour — or at weekends — within three hours (working hours: 9.00–18.00).

Step 3

When it’s time for your consultation, go to medon.lv, log in to your profile, and click the green “Start call” button. The consultation will last 15 minutes, during which the doctor will provide any necessary instructions and, if needed, issue a prescription or a referral.

Step 4

The information you obtain during the consultation will be saved and always available in your Medon profile.

No, the consultation is paid by ERGO. To make your consultation free of charge, please enter your ERGO health insurance card number when you book your appointment.
No, only insured persons can receive a consultation.
You can receive a remote consultation with a doctor — including the explanation and discussion of any attached test or examination results — along with an e-statement. If needed, you can also receive an e-referral and request the closure of your sick leave note.
Medon is a digital clinic that brings together specialists and patients on its online platform. Patients can book a consultation with their preferred doctor and contact the specialist at a convenient time using the video call function.
Medon is available regardless of your location, as consultations take place online. All you need is a stable Internet connection and a device (computer or smartphone) from which to contact a doctor or medical specialist.
