Medon is a digital clinic that brings together specialists and patients on its online platform. Patients can book a consultation with their preferred doctor and contact the specialist at a convenient time using the video call function.
Once you have completed the registration process, you can schedule an appointment with the preferred doctor or medical specialist and have the consultation at your convenience by using Medon's secure video call function. After the consultation, the doctor or medical specialist will inform you about the next steps.
Medon is available regardless of your location, as consultations take place online. All you need is a stable Internet connection and a device (computer or smartphone) from which to contact a doctor or medical specialist.
Medon understands how important it is to keep our patients' information safe, and we take this very seriously. Our online medical clinic complies with all data security requirements. Moreover, we have implemented additional security protocols. Please read our privacy policy for more information.

You will be able to view and download your invoice in your profile after the visit, once the doctor has sent you visit summary. Most often, in order to receive reimbursement of the visit fee from your insurer, you will need to send the insurer the consultation invoice and a payment order.
Yes, you can receive referrals remotely if needed. E-referrals will be available to you when you log in to the E-Health portal.
Yes. After the consultation, the doctor can issue an e-referral directly in the E-Health system. You will also receive a U27 summary with the diagnosis and the doctor's recommendations.
Medon consultations are medical services that insurers reimburse within the terms of your specific policy. After the visit you will receive an invoice, which you can submit to your insurer together with the bank payment order to claim reimbursement.
ERGO and If health insurance and Balcia travel insurance clients can receive Express GP consultations without pre-payment — by entering their insurance card details at the payment step (insurers cover the full cost of these consultations immediately, 100%).

Being experts in their field, doctors and medical specialists themselves evaluate whether a remote consultation is sufficient. In case an in-person visit is required, your doctor will notify you during your online consultation. Here you can see all available doctors and medical specialists.
All you need is a device with a camera and an internet connection. It can be a laptop, a smartphone, or even a desktop computer with a camera and microphone attached.
The visit takes place as a video call directly on the Medon platform — no extra app to install. Log in to your Medon profile, join the call and consult with the doctor in the digital consulting room.
Many specialists have times available within the next few days. The Express GP is usually available within an hour — you can book at any time of day or night.

Yes. If you have one of these insurances, book from the corresponding page: ERGO, If or Balcia. You won't need to pre-pay, as your insurer covers the consultation directly.
