Remote consultations are not suitable for acute respiratory problems when immediate medical assessment and monitoring are required
A certified pulmonologist/pneumonologist providing comprehensive diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up care for pulmonary and respiratory tract conditions. In practice, an individualized approach is applied to every patient, thoroughly evaluating symptoms, root causes, and complaint characteristics to establish an accurate diagnosis and select the optimal treatment strategy. The specialist expertise includes the interpretation of pulmonary function tests and thoracic radiology, ensuring high-quality guidance for both acute and chronic respiratory disorders.
The pneumonologist provides consultations on:
- Bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other chronic lung conditions
- Acute and chronic respiratory tract infections
- Evaluating root causes of persistent cough, shortness of breath (dyspnea), and hemoptysis
- Interpretation of spirometry, chest X-ray, and chest CT scans with recommended management plans
