I knew from an early age that I wanted to help people, because the well-being of those around me is important to me. Then, over time, I found a way to fulfill this desire of mine through the opportunity to help women who have fallen into trouble. I came into indirect contact with medicine at an early age, but I started working in the breast surgery department at the age of 15. There I was trained by my mentor, Prof. Jānis Eglītis. I currently work in the breast surgery department of the RAKUS Latvian Oncology Center, and I have interned in the breast surgery department of the Helsinki University Hospital. I regularly expand my knowledge and speak at various conferences related to breast health. I am a co-author of several internationally published and upcoming studies. I am currently studying for a doctorate.
