Alīse Paidere

A certified psychiatrist, member of the Latvian Medical Association and the Latvian Psychiatric Association, with an academic background lecturing at RSU Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy. In her practice, she applies an individualized approach to every patient, thoroughly evaluating symptoms, root causes, and complaint characteristics to establish an accurate diagnosis and select the optimal treatment strategy. She prioritizes a safe, welcoming atmosphere where patients feel heard and clearly understand their care path. Continually enhancing her professional expertise, her research focuses on depression, anxiety, and the interplay between somatic and mental health.

The psychiatrist provides consultations for adults on:

• Treatment planning for anxiety, depression, panic attacks, burnout, and sleep disorders
• Management of bipolar, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), and somatoform disorders
• Psychological crises, stress management, and interpersonal difficulties
• Guidance for neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD) and personality disorders
• Pharmacotherapy initiation, dosage adjustment, prescription renewal, and VDEĀVK documentation
