A rheumatologist should be consulted if you experience complaints of joint pain accompanied by joint swelling, stiffness lasting more than 14 days, unexplained weight loss, prolonged fever, prolonged dryness of the eyes and mouth, skin rash, muscle weakness, pain. Unexplained skin rash, progressive shortness of breath.
