I have graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Rīga Stradiņš University and completed my residency at the Residency Faculty of Rīga Stradiņš University in the specialty of child psychiatry. Since 2019, I have been working with children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders. I have delivered lectures on child and adolescent mental health disorders to students at Rīga Stradiņš University, mental health professionals and representatives of other professions, and have regularly enhanced my knowledge by attending conferences and courses in Latvia and abroad.
I currently work at the medical institution "Nepaliec viens" at the "Solis augšup" center in the early intervention team. Within the framework of the intervention program, I consult families with children with neurodevelopmental disorders or suspected disorders, and also provide outpatient visits in cases where emotional and behavioral difficulties are observed that are inappropriate for the child's or adolescent's developmental stage and significantly affect their daily life and functioning.
A child psychiatrist prepares the necessary medical documentation and referrals for pedagogical-medical commissions, disability assessment, as well as psychological evaluations, ensuring a professional assessment in accordance with the child’s health condition and individual needs.
