Dr. Olga Korņilova is a certified physician–hematologist. A hematologist is a medical specialist who consults adult patients, diagnoses, and treats both non-malignant (iron deficiency anemia, anemia due to vitamin B12 or folate deficiency, blood clotting disorders, thrombophilia, autoimmune blood diseases) and malignant (leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, myeloproliferative neoplasms, myelodysplastic syndromes) hematological conditions.
Prevention, diagnosis, and management of side effects of specific therapies (chemotherapy, immunochemotherapy, targeted therapy).
Member of the Latvian Association of Hematologists and the European Hematology Association, co-author of several local and international publications.
