The doctor provides consultations and anesthesiological care for both adult and pediatric patients.
During the outpatient examination, the anesthesiologist becomes familiar with the patient's health condition, test and analysis results, medical history, the type of planned surgery or medical procedure, and evaluates whether anesthesia is possible and permissible for the particular patient. Possible anesthesia risks are assessed and solutions are sought to prevent them. The anesthesiologist selects an appropriate and permissible type of anesthesia for each patient and develops the patient's anesthesia plan.
The doctor is an active member of the Latvian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care Specialists (LARA), as well as the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC). This provides assurance that the latest international guidelines and most modern technologies are used in patient care.
