A certified pain management specialist (algologist) and anesthesiologist-intensivist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. The physician consults patients suffering from back pain, neck pain, joint pain, neuropathic pain, postoperative pain, post-traumatic pain, and other persistent or complex pain syndromes.

During the consultation, the physician evaluates the patient’s symptoms, medical history, previous diagnostic investigations, and prior treatments. Based on this assessment, an individualized treatment plan is developed, which may include adjustments to medication therapy, recommendations for additional diagnostic tests, rehabilitation guidance, or, when necessary, targeted pain management procedures.

The physician has extensive experience in consulting both outpatient and inpatient populations, as well as performing minimally invasive pain management interventions.

Before the consultation, it is advisable to prepare:

• reports and conclusions from previous specialists (neurologist, orthopedic trauma surgeon, neurosurgeon, rheumatologist, rehabilitation specialist, or family physician);
• hospital discharge summaries if the pain is related to surgery, trauma, or a serious medical condition;
• a list of current medications, especially pain medications, anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and other regularly used medications;
• information about allergies and any previously experienced adverse drug reactions or side effects.

To ensure the consultation is as focused and effective as possible, patients are encouraged to complete a pre-consultation questionnaire before their initial visit.
